How much is the Blender addon?

The addon is free! You only pay the subscription for the model usage

What is the difference between Upscale and the other 2D Models?

2D Generate typically outputs 1024x1024 images, where as Upscale will take that and convert to 2048x2048 while upscaling and preserving as much of the original image as possible. Upscale is currently limited to 2048x2048, so trying to make a 4K image will not work

Are there any plans to add new models and make additional improvements?

Absolutely! While we want to serve only the best of the best models, we are open to suggestions and will implement any new state of the art model that is released. If you know the rest of our QuickTools addons, you know we've released tons of free updates over the years and dedicated countless hours to providing support to customers. We will be doing the same for this addon!

Can I use this offline?

No, you must have an active internet connection to use this tool

What platforms are supported?

QuickMaker is built to work on all Mac and Windows PC's

Can I use this for commercial use?

Yes! All the models we currently use give full copyright ownership to the users. For more specific info, read the terms and conditions of each model. We are not liable for any misuse and reserve the right to ban users at our discretion if we detect abuse.

Why is my image not generating?

There are a small number of errors that can happen, such as insufficient credits to a model being down to too many requests within a single hour. Read the error log under Blender's Window -> System Console (see how to pull up the console on Mac) for more details when an error occurs

Can I get a credit refund?

We will handle refunds on a case by case basis. All generations are logged and we can easily review what happened and credit you if deemed appropriate. Contact us via email or the QuickTools Discord

What happens if my internet disconnects mid download?

As long as you keep the same prompt and the same Blender file name, you should be able to get the same result from the server by simply regenerating again

How do I know how long generating the asset will take?

You can see the full status log in Window -> System Console in Blender. Estimation numbers are a work in progress, typically images take 3-10 seconds and models take 30-120 seconds

Are there any rate limits?

You can send up to 10 generations per minute on a single account

Why use this addon instead of going directly to a service?

So while there is nothing wrong with going directly to a specific AI service provider, you will deal with a lot of inconveniences such as having to manage credits and API keys on multiple sites and the costs will rack up fast from having multiple subscriptions going for various 2d/3d/upresing models. The convienence of having the best models all in one place to choose from and everything taken care of directly in Blender is simply unmatched, so you can focus on what matters which is creating the best designs and art possible. Our workflow is built specifically for artists in mind, and we have multiple tools to make it easier for you to generate AI assets on top of your own 3D models and Grease Pencil sketches

Something happened and my credits are gone?

Contact us via email or the QuickTools Discord. We reserve the right to manually adjust user credits on a case by case basis

Is QuickMaker secure?

All user emails and passwords are encrypted and we use all the recommended safe practices to ensure your art and your account info is secure at all times

Will it get faster?

Yes! Right now this is the worst AI models will ever be. We believe that in the future high quality images and models will be a one second download away, and this addon will be here to bring that into Blender for you.

Is AI okay to use as an artist?

This is a deep question, and after a lot of thought, our answer is yes. We set out to build this tool in a way that enhances creativity, as you can take your rough models or Grease Pencil sketches and finalize them in a few seconds, then build your own kitbash libraries of anything you can draw and think of. We believe with AI our creativity is actually going to be unlocked and our output will increase tenfold.
