Do we pay separately for the Blender Addon?

No, The Blender addon is completely free.

Are there any plans to add new models and make additional improvements?

Absolutely! While we want to serve only the best of the best models, we are open to suggestions and will implement any new state of the art model that is released. If you know the rest of our QuickTools addons, you know we've released tons of free updates over the years and dedicated countless hours to providing support to customers. We will be doing the same for this addon.

Can I use this offline?

No, you must have an active internet connection to use this tool.

What platforms are supported?

QuickMaker works on all Mac and Windows PCs.

Can I use this for commercial use?

Yes! The user retains full ownership of all generated assets.

Why is my image not generating?

Make sure you have enough credits for the job you are submitting. For any other problems, read the error log under Blender's Window -> System Console for more details when an error occurs and submit a bug report via email or Discord.

Can I get a credit refund?

We will handle refunds on a case by case basis. All generations are logged and we can easily review what happened and credit you if deemed appropriate. Contact us via email or the QuickTools Discord.

How do I know how long generating the asset will take?

You can see the full status log in Window -> System Console in Blender. Estimation numbers are a work in progress, typically images take 3-10 seconds and models/videos take 30-120 seconds. Blender stays live so you can continue working while you wait for the generated asset to download and import.

Are there any rate limits?

You can send up to 10 generations per minute on a single account.

Why use this addon instead of going directly to a service?

So while there is nothing wrong with going directly to a specific AI service provider, you will deal with a lot of inconveniences such as having to manage credits and API keys on multiple sites and the costs will rack up fast from having multiple subscriptions going for various 2d/3d/upresing models. The convienence of having the best models all in one place to choose from and everything taken care of directly in Blender is simply unmatched, so you can focus on what matters which is creating the best designs and art possible. Something happened and my credits are gone?

Contact us via email or the QuickTools Discord. We reserve the right to manually adjust user credits on a case by case basis.

Is QuickMaker private and secure?

All user emails and passwords are encrypted and we use all the recommended safe practices to ensure your art and your account info is secure at all times. Of course, model providers such as Gemini and Tripo will receive your prompts and generations so we suggest reading through all of our model providers terms and conditions, but you retain full ownership of all generated assets.

Will it get faster?

Yes! Right now this is the worst AI models will ever be. We believe that in the future high quality images and models will be a one second download away, and this addon will be here to bring that into Blender for you.

Is AI okay to use as an artist?

This is a deep question, and after a lot of thought, our answer is yes. We set out to build this tool in a way that enhances creativity, as you can take your rough models or Grease Pencil sketches and finalize them in a few seconds, then build your own kitbash libraries of anything you can draw and think of. We believe with AI our creativity is actually going to be unlocked and our output will increase tenfold. When it comes to personal art, drawing on paper or modeling in 3D will never go away, but working with clients requires us to use the latest and greatest technology to make the best work possible. We believe QuickMaker is the best way to bring AI into your workflow.
